I was raised by an amazing woman.  A doctor and a single mother always devoted to others.  After my parents’ divorce, her lack of financial understanding caused extreme anxiety and even depression.  She felt she lost control over her life.  My brother and I were shocked, how could such a smart, capable woman with a successful career struggle with money?

When I became a financial advisor, I began to realized my Mom was not alone,  Many of the women I work with have spent their lives putting others as a priority, neglecting their financial affairs and leaving them vulnerable.  I wanted these women to feel good about the decisions they make, understanding what they had to use their money to create the life they want.

That is why my true purpose as a financial advisor is to encourage every woman to become more engaged in her financial life.  To create an environment that puts her first, gives her a voice and gently guided them to their unique path to financial security.

Lynn has her series 7, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations and a Bachelor’s of Arts (B.A.) Degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. She has served her clients since 1991 and is a proud member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), University of Minnesota Alumni and St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.  She lives in St. Paul, near Macalester College, with her husband, daughter, and "furry friends".  Lynn loves to have fun, live an extraordinary life and travel to new places.

I have always been a planner. I can remember being eight or nine years old and planning out how I would build my next fort.  I would consider all of the design possibilities, the materials, the tools needed, what the perfect tree might look like and before long I would have a sketch drawn and a clear direction of what I wanted to create and how to get there. To this day,  I use the same process for managing my money so that even when things don’t go as planned, there is still a clear sense of direction and guidance.  The value of having a plan became abundantly clear when, after 4 months as an advisor, the market crashed. I spent the next two years fielding calls from women who didn’t have a plan who conveyed a true sense of apprehension and fear at what their future looked like.  This often led them to make poor financial decisions that would impact them for rest of their lives.

As a Financial Advisor Associate, I work with our clients to create a plan that gives them options, guidance, and direction.  My true passion lies in helping them define how they want with their money to accomplish their ambitions while at the same time arranging contingencies to prepare for the unexpected. I have seen, first hand, how this process inspires more confidence in my clients. The priority is to take fear and panic out of the equation. This is why my true value is in helping you embrace your future with poise and confidence by enabling you to define the life that you want and designing the plan to achieve it.

Matt has his Series series 7, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations and a Bachelor’s of Arts (B.A.) Degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls and a Masters in Adult Education from Colorado State University. Matt has been serving clients since 2007.  He and his wife, Amy, live in White Bear Lake, MN, and enjoy spending time with their young sons.

I was raised by a very strong mother. She was the rock of our home and taught me to be a highly responsible and independent thinker at a very young age. While this was good for my future, it made me a bit challenging to raise. During high school, my mom was my advocate when I refused to do homework that I deemed “unnecessary” and she helped me buy my first house when I was 21. She supported me, appreciated my unique nature, valued my opinion, and encouraged me to create a life of confidence.

When I first entered the industry, I saw how women were not heard and often they were ignored. Advisors focused more on the technical aspects of the business never really getting to know what was important for these women.  When I joined Lynn’s team, I vowed to meet women where they were at, to encourage them to open up, to share their desires and fears. This environment inspired women to become more engaged in their affairs knowing what they wanted, needed and deserved was important to us as well.

My true purpose is to build relationships based on trust and understanding, for women to feel safe, supported, and valued. I want them to understand, that they are what’s important, it’s not just the numbers.

Megan has her Series 7, 66, and 24 FINRA registrations and a Bachelor’s of Arts (B.A.) Degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. She has served clients since 2007 and is the critical thinker on the team. Megan and her husband live in Oakdale, MN, and spend their free time chasing around their school age son.
